My Story

Psychedelics have been profoundly wise teachers in my personal life. Prior to starting down this path, I lived in a constant state of worry, stuck in my own head with a steady stream of self-criticism and judgement. I felt unworthy of love, broken and ashamed. There was always a low hum of existential dread running in the background.

On the other side of it, the worry and the dread has been replaced with an abiding sense of peace and acceptance. I'm able to love myself so much easier, and forgive myself when I make mistakes. I'm at a place in my life where all I want to do is help others learn to do the same!

I am a former member of the LDS (Mormon) Church, and have a special interest in helping members of that community (both active and former) in navigating faith transitions, deconstructing outdated or unhelpful beliefs, and developing deeper spiritual practices. As a sexual abuse survivor, I also have a special interest in healing from trauma and longterm or treatment-resistant mental health afflictions. I am also the proud father of two queer children and provide a safe, affirmative place for members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Training & Experience

I began my training in 2022 with a year of apprenticeship under the guidance of the plant medicine facilitator with whom I had my first breakthrough experience in Joshua Tree, California. Following that, I took a 6-month certification course through the Psychedelic Coaching Institute to provide a foundation of knowledge in neuroscience, history, and legality while developing the skills required for holding safe, ethical space. Since then, I have also completed trainings from The Coaching Lab, Inner Team Dialogue (Level I), First-Degree Reiki (Usui method), Mental Health First Aid, and have signed and committed to the principles outlined in the North Star Ethics Pledge.

In July of 2024, I joined Noma Therapy full-time as the Lead Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy Guide where I completed over 600 virtual ketamine sessions with patients suffering from treatment-resistant depression, severe anxiety, and PTSD. I coordinated closely with therapists, prescribers, and other guides to listen to patient feedback, refine our practices, and provide the most effective, compassionate care.

I created Bloom & Decay in August of 2025 as the culmination of everything I’ve learned and practiced. As a solo practitioner, I personalize my offers to the individual needs of the people I work with, often blending or stacking different medicines and modalities to help meet you where you are.

How I Work

You can think of me kind of like a divemaster in the scuba world. My role is to make sure you have a safe, meaningful dive into your inner world. To do that, we’ll spend as much time as needed before an experience to make sure you feel completely supported and prepared. Because every person and experience is unique, the focus of our coaching will be cultivating your capacity to flow with whatever arises. I’ll be there to guide you through the process, but mostly providing the space and encouragement for you to trust your own inner wisdom. I’ll also equip you with the tools and support to weave the insights you’ve collected back into the reality of daily living. Life is the ceremony and the most impactful journeys are the ones that have a lasting impact in the way you show up for yourself and the people you love.
